Enjoy the Mangroves of Laguna El Cacao located just 40 minutes from La Ceiba near the Hotel Palma Real. This tour allows us to row our seakayaks for two and a half hours in a beautiful coastal lagoon and with great ease we will be able to observe olingo monkeys and sometimes white-faced monkeys as well as colorful aquatic birds such as kingfishers and herons. We find here a unique beach just as Christopher Columbus found them when he arrived in Honduras. Your guide will give some basic instructions for handling the kayaks before starting the tour. There is the option of paddling in a wooden canoe with a local guide for groups of 2 to 6 people or families who want to go together.
